Beautiful and fully restored 1963 Airstream Globe Trotter 19 Feet Travel Trailer Fully Restored.CALL/TEXT ME AT 850-816-0681. The vintage Globetrotter is very popular due to the added 2 feet as compared to the Bambi size trailer. The extra 2 feet is huge regarding the extra room needed for living space. They are the perfect size for a couple wanting to camp vintage style. Professionally restored in 2007 and rarely used since finished. Never smoked in and no pets.It is a fresh as the day it was finished. Always stored indoors.Needs nothing and everything works. Just needs to be enjoyed by an adventurous couple who enjoys vintage trailer travel exploring the US.
The interior is spectacular in its appearance. Gutted and completely restored leaving much of the originality with modern updates adding convenience and safety. Designed by a women with taste the interior is very warm and inviting offering comfort and homey feel away from home. Interior walls are original and repainted. The tub is original. New electrical with 30 amp service and 12 volt system. New air conditioner, new stainless 30 amp power inlet, 12 volt power converter with lighting, power vent, pump, batteries, solar panel, gauges for tanks and battery condition, AM/FM/CD stereo (two speaker), interior paint. All windows removed and new gaskets installed, new wood floor, all plumbing and electrical replaced, water heater pump, water lines, valves, fresh water tank, water fill, city water inlet. Rebuilt bathroom using original tub. New fixtures, toilet, cabinetry and shower enclosure. New dinette booth, new galley with upper cabinet and closet, new slide out bed with upper cabinet, new hot water heater, fresh water tank, low profile Penguin 13,500 BTU A/C, burner cooktop, microwave/convection, three way refrigerator, fan, flat screen TV. Carbon monoxide and propane gas detector. The interior is super clean and fresh. All linens and pillows go with the trailer.
Exterior is in very good condition.The panels have been resealed with a few replaced. The tanks are original and in excellent operational condition. The awning was restored and is blue in like new condition. Custom rear storage box to carry chairs. Hitch is rebuilt with all the safety features along with electric tongue winch. Spare tire matching what is installed on the trailer. Solar panel mounted on the roof.
The frame was inspected in the restoration and is in excellent condition. The axle was replaced for safety reasons and providing reliability knowing the trailer was restored for use not show. Everything works as it should.
Summary: This trailer is complete, needs nothing and is ready to be enjoyed. One of a kind and professionally restored. Great value for the money. Don’t miss out on this very nice vintage Airstream.
